The Adair County Band had the highest score in the Kentucky Music Education Association SMBC in the Class AAA West Regional at Butler County High School, 1147 S. Main ST, Morgantown, KY on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Adair County had an overall score of 88.3, with the number two school, Boyle County, at 86.5. Elizabethtown High School was third at 82.3. Other area schools: Taylor County, 81.4, for fourth, and Russell Co., 76.4 for eighth.
