COF: Chicago hot dogs cause simple folk to put on airs He's well versed on windy city, speaks with the authority of one who lived near enough to take train for Christmas shopping, but knew enough to stay away, otherwise About: The Portillos suggestion is now officially a movement By the COF Commentary from Knifley, KY I've done kept quiet long enuf! My sweet ole granny usta say: "Careful what ya be awishin' fer young'un, ya jest might git more then ya bargained fer!" Time was when I lived as a neighbor to the Illini folk and other than takin a train to the Big Windy to do our Christmas shopping, we knew better then ta ever go near the place. We usta reckon hit wuz somthin' in the water but dern if I now don't believe hits those Chicago hot dogs thet causes simple folks to put on airs an go astray. Time still doesn't seem ta have cured enny of what seems to aflict thet place what with the politics and other news thet seems to come on a daily basis. 'Sides, iffen hits so wonderful, why are so many of em movin' here? As for me I'll be content with blogs and let them keep their Blogo. s/COF at Dun Roman Eatin' high on a ridge o'er well nuf fed Knifley This story was posted on 2010-10-24 19:12:32
