PRIDE Fall Cleanup is Saturday morning, Oct. 23, 2010

Adair County residents are invited to participate in Roadside PRIDE activities planned by Judge-Executive Ann Melton and the Fiscal Court.

The clean up starts with a kick-off on Saturday morning, October 23, 2010, at 8amCT in the back parking lot of the Adair Annex Building, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.

County Judge Executive Ann Melton will welcome volunteers and there will be doughnuts, coffee, and juice available for breakfast.



Groups will sign in, pick up t-shirts, sign volunteer sheets, get trash bags and vests and be assigned to a road or choose the road you want to clean.

At approximately 8:30am volunteers will leave to clean roadsides.

They will return at approximately 11am to the Roadside Park, 2310 Hwy 55 South RD for a cookout, to return equipment, and turn in paperwork.

Individuals are asked to bring lawn chairs. There is a playground at the park for little ones.

A prize will be given to the group bringing in the most unusual item found during the roadside cleanup.

The Adair PRIDE co-chairs are Lisa Lee and A.L. Sinclair.
