Obituary: William Rodney Burton, 67, Dunnville., KY

He was always a good neighbor to all. He was a retired construction worker and farmer and a member of Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church. He liked to fish, hunt, and ride horses

William Rodney Burton, 67, Turner Ridge RD, Dunnville, KY, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at his home.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Gerald Burton officiating. Burial will be in the Luttrell Cemetery, Dunnville, KY. Visitation will be after 6pmCT, Monday, October 18, 2010, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Jason Terwilliger, Justin Terwilliger, Dereck Stephens, Troy Brockman, Johnny Brockman, and Eric Burton.

William Rodney Burton, 67, Dunnville, KY (1942-2010)

William Rodney Burton was the son of the late Dorneth Owens Burton and Orvis Burton. He was born Monday, November 16, 1942in Casey Co., KY and died Saturday, October 16, 2010, in Dunnville, Casey Co., KY at the age of 67 years and 11 months.

He was a retired construction worker and a farmer. He was a member of Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church. He like to fish, hunt and ride horses. He was always a good neighbro to all.

He is survived by his wife, Maedell Collins Burton, and the following:
  • Three sisters: Fern (Charles) Grider, Russell Springs, KY; and Juree Myers and Josephine (Ward) Brockman, both of Windsor, KY

  • One brother: Gary (Diana) Burton, Windsor, KY
  • Several nieces and nephews

  • Special friends: Les and Mary Lou Bailey, Colorado

  • Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
