He was a member of Living Grace Church and was a semi-truck driver for Cox Interiors

Wayne Cox, 60, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:20amET, Thursday, October 14, 2010 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT,. Sunday, October 17, 2010 at theParrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Phillip Kelley and Bro. Doug Moseley. Burial will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Allan Kent Bohanon, Neil Burress, Barry Cox, Brent Cox, Ricky Janes, and Jesse Mings.

Wayne Cox, Taylor Co., KY (1950 - 2010)

Wayne Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late George B. Cox and Kathleen Ferguson Cox, was born January 15, 1950 in Taylor Co., KY. He died Thursday, October 14, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY at the age of 60 years, 8 months, and 29 days.Age: 60

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Living Grace Church.

He was employed as a semi truck driver for Cox Interior.

He united in marriage to Phyllis K. England, December 31, 1999.

Besides his wife, Phyllis Cox, he is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters and their spouses: Katrina and Steve Rucker of Murfreesboro, TN; and Tara and Andy Rutherford of Winter Park, FL

  • One step-son, Jamie Antle and wife, Lori of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Candice Rucker, Stevie Lynn Rutherford and Brianna Rutherford

  • Three step-grandchildren: Caitlyn Antle, Jackson Antle and Bailee Antle

  • Several other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by two brothers Carlton Cox, April 13, 1970 and Dwight Cox in infancy.
