Gerald Ray Pruyear of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Hershel Lee Pruyearand Anna Ruth Hardin Pruyear, was born April 3, 1961, in Taylor County,Kentucky. He died at 5:10amET., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 inCampbellsville. Age: 49

Funeral services were at 12 noon ET, Friday, October 15, 2010 at theParrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Robbie Spencer. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY.

Pallbearers were Gary Mardis, Donnie Newton, Cameron Pruyear, Gary Pruyear, Mikie Pruyear, Jr.; and Wayne Pruyear.

He was a farmer and employee of Nally & Haydon Surfacing.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son and two daughters: Christopher Pruyear andwife, Andrea, Sara Spencer and husband, Nick and Deena Collings, all ofCampbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Christopher Pruyear, Jr., Riley Spencerand Elijah Collings

  • Two brothers: Mikie Lee Pruyear and wife, Elaine ofPerryville, KY; and Tommy Pruyear and wife, Jill of Campbellsville, KY

  • Special friend: Amanda Urquizo of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • Andmany other relatives and friends
