THREE IN A ROW: LINDSEY WILSON VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS WEST VIRGINIA TECH 3-0 By Dan White News from Lindsey Wilson Sports Information Columbia, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team recorded its third straight win in three quick sets, topping the West Virginia Institute of Technology 3-0 (25-6, 25-16, 25-15) on Wednesday at Biggers Sports Center. Freshman Audra McNabney paced the offense with 13 kills, while sophomore Ashlie Haworth tallied 10 kills and four service aces. Sophomore Andrea Taylor fed the attackers for 27 assists while also sending down a pair of service aces. Junior Rachael Anderson tallied 15 digs with three kills and two services aces and her classmate Kayla Koerber finished with four blocks and three kills. West Virginia Tech was led by junior Brandy Deddo with five kills, while the rest of the Golden Bears struggled to a -.015 hitting percentage. Lindsey Wilson posted a .253 hitting mark, bolstered by McNabney's solid output of 13 kills in 15 attempts for a .440 percentage. After completing the three straight wins, the Blue Raiders stand at 9-19 overall and an even 4-4 in the Mid-South Conference.
