Decatur, AL. Friday, October 8, 2010. - Lindsey Wilson College junior Elisha Fry scored in 79th minute to give the No. 7-ranked Blue Raiders a 2-1 win over No. 4-ranked William Carey (MS) University tonight at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex (2616 Modaus RD SW, Decatur, AL).

Fry connected on the game-winner with her team-leading seventh goal of the season off junior Ida Gregersen's assist. Gregersen - the reigning Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week - leads the Blue Raiders with eight assists this season.

Gregersen set up Fry from across the penalty box following a Lindsey Wilson free kick. Fry one-timed the ball into the back of the net to give the Blue Raiders (9-4-0) a 2-1 lead and eventually the win.

Lindsey Wilson grabbed the early lead after sophomore Saeda Sueki scored off an assist from senior Caitlin Burke in the 10th minute. The goal is Sueki's second of the season.

The Blue Raiders maintained the 1-0 lead into the break.

William Carey (7-2-2) tied the game at 1-1 in the 60th minute as Natalia Nino scored her third goal of the season.

But Fry answered to send the Blue Raiders to their fourth straight win.
