Jacob (Bacon) McGowan, Warriner Village, Jamestown, KY, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington, KY.

The funeral service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, at 2pmCT,, on Sunday, October 10, with Bro. Casey Davis officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be Saturday, October 9, 1991, after 5pmCT, at the funeral home.



Jacob (Bacon) McGowan, Russell Co., KY (1991-2010)

Jacob (Bacon) McGowan was the son of the late Reggie McGowan and Kamie Carnes McGowan, who survives. He was born Monday, September 9, 1991, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY and died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, in Lexington, Fayette Co., KY at the age of 19 years, and 26 days.

He was a factory worker at Fruit of the Loom, Jamestown, KY.

He is survived by his mother, Kamie, and stepfather, Gary Warriner, Jamestown, and the following:
  • A son: Cooper Aaron McGowan, Jamestown, KY

  • A sister: Tabitha McGowan, Jamestown, KY

  • Two step brothers: Adam Warriner and Allen Warriner, Jamestown, KY

  • Maternal grandparents: Doug and Kathy Carnes, Jamestown, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: Coy and Gloria mcGowan, Jamestown, KY

  • Paternal great grandmother: Audrey McGowan,Jamestown, KY

  • Paternal great grandmother, Ester Kell Russell Springs, KY

  • A special niece and nephews
H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 2020 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
