Kenneth Grider, 87, of Liberty, KY, died Saturday October 2, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, in Danville, KY.

Funeral services were October 5, 2010 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bro. Jamie Bryant. Burial was in the Casey County Memorial Gardens.

Kenneth Grider, Casey Co., KY (1923-2010)

Kenneth Grider was born on January 8, 1923 in Casey Co. KY. He was a son of the late George and Ruth Douglas Grider. He died October 2, 2010 in Danville, Boyle Co., KY.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Ruth Harris and Marlene Faye Long; two brothers, Edward and Harlis Grider and sister, Lula Mae Grider.

He was a grocery merchant and member of the Cowdens Chapel Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Patricia Durham of Lexington, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Floyd and George Lewis Grider both of Liberty, KY

  • Four sisters: Roberta Wells of Missouri, Beulah York of Stamping Ground, KY; Lucy Watson of Campbellsburg, KY and Margie Buis of Yosemite, KY
