KSP executes warrant charging Phillip Cape with attempted murder By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs OfficerKentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Columbia, KY. - Kentucky State Police Detective Mike Dubree has obtained an arrest warrant for Phillip Cape charging him with the attempted murder of Brandy Lawless. The warrant was executed today at the Intensive Care Unit of the UK Medical Center where Cape remains in custody and in stable condition.The arrest grows out of an incident Sunday afternoon, October 3, 2010, on Melson Ridge RD.
