Letter: Victoria Pike says Democrat Rally great success

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Thanks to everyone who attended our Adair County Democrat Party Rally for our local candidates last night at the VFW Hall. It was a great success. Every table was full and the food was delicious. Thanks to all those who participated in any way. Each of our candidates made an excellent presentation. Special thanks to the Democrat Women's Club for all the delicious desserts and serving the food.

Also, over the weekend members of the Adair County Democrat Women's Club attended the State Democratic Women's Convention held in Louisville, KY, at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.

Gov. Beshear and Jack Conway were among the speakers. The ladies elected Ms. Romanza Johnson of Bowling Green Ky as our new state president. Cynthia Rowe, Pam Shearer, and Victoria Pike returned Saturday afternoon energized for the Monday night rally.

s/Victoria Pike, President
