Applications for Co. Ag Investment Program
at Taylor Co. Extension

The Taylor County Cattlemen's Association will be accepting applications in the County Agricultural Investment Program (C.A.I.P.) beginning October 18, 2010 at the Taylor County Extension Office, 1143 S. Columbia AV, Campbellsville, KY. Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2010.

The following investment areas are eligible for $2,000 cost-share reimbursement:


  • Agricultural Diversification
  • Cattle Genetics Improvement
  • Cattle Handling Facilities
  • Commercial Poultry, Dairy, & Swine, Farm Livestock Fencing Improvement
  • Farm Structure & Commodity Handling
  • Forage Improvement & Utilization, Goat & Sheep Diversification
  • On-farm Energy Efficiency & Production
  • On-farm Water Enhancement
  • and Technology
Applicants will be able to apply for three investment areas with a total maximum cost-share reimbursement of $2,000 per FSA Number and Social Security Number. Eligible cost-share items in each of the investment areas may be obtained from the Taylor County Extension Office or from the Governor's Office of Ag. Policy at http://www.agpolicy.ky.gov/funds/caip.shtml. Cost-share reimbursement will be made on expenditures from September 10, 2009 through June 1, 2011.
