25th Anniversary of day writer will never forget By Al Owens Today is a day that I will never forget... On 10/03/85 My dear friend Robbie Hennessey was killed in a traumatic auto accident here in Columbia. As I reflect back upon that event, It is hard to believe that it has been 25 years. I would like to thank all of the people here in Columbia that supported me, by sending cards, letters, well wishes, and even traveling to Louisville to visit. I would also like for people to remember Robbie and his family at this time. Please take a moment today to say a small prayer for the Hennessey family. Thank you and God Bless all of you! -Donnie "Big Al" Owens This story was posted on 2010-10-03 10:11:20
