Tee off times, Tuesday, October 5, 2010, for the Lady Dragons are as follows:
Green County goes as Region 4 Champions Green County High School's Lady Dragons won the 2010 Region 4 Golf Tournament held Monday at Glasgow Country Club. The defending state champions will get a chance to repeat next week at the 2010 KHSAA Girls' State Golf Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club. The Lady Dragons were led to victory by tournament medalist Olivia Parrott with a 78. Other Green County players contributing to the victory were Kate Larimore (81), Cassidy Scantland (81), Sydney Smith (90) and Leah Rose Judd (90). Larimore and Scantland tied for fourth place overall. Both Green County and Glasgow High School are qualified for state competition, and all five players from both teams will participate individually, as well. Other regional players from Monday's tournament will also qualify depending on lowest scores. When all players are best, Dragons are unbeatable If all the girls are at their best, a repeat State Championship is almost a sure thing. Every member of the team has worked very hard. They are exceptional young ladies, both on and off the golf course. Whatever the outcome, they feel very proud (along with their family and community), and can always say we are "Champions."
