Obituary: James Larry Harper, 66, Metcalfe Co., KY

He was a member of a large, respected East Metcalfe County family

Graveside services will be held 1pmCT, Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Harper Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30am until 12:30pm CT, Sunday at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY.


James Larry Harper age 66 of Edmonton died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

He was the son of the late James and Aline Tibbs Harper.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two children: Tabitha Spencer of Louisville, KY, and Amber Ann Harper of Texas

  • Two brothers: Roger Harper of Glasgow, KY, and Wendell Harper of Florida

  • Two sisters: Ann Cary of Frankfort, KY, and Robin Garden of Summer Shade, KY
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Tony Harper.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, in charge of funeral arrangements.
