Lanny Tucker play coming to Old Courthouse, Greensburg, KY

Updated story with cast of characters

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly in Greensburg/Looking for Civil War Gold in Our Old Courthouse! a play written by Green County author and playwright Lanny Tucker will be performed at 4pm CT and 7pmCT, Saturday October 2, 2010 and at the same times on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at the Old Courthouse, 104 South Public Square, Greensburg, KY.

The play is written and directed by Lanny Tucker.


The PLAY:
Characters are Angel Eyes, Blondie and Tuco. based on characters from the original The Good, The Bad and the Ugly come to Greensburg looking for Civil War gold in The Old Courthouse. There they encounter Green County Citizens such as General Edward Hobson straight out of Green County History.
Admission is $5 and benefits the Green County Historical Society. Jelaine Harlow

CAST:
  • John Henderson as Blondie, "the Good."
  • Lanny Tucker as Angel Eyes, "the Bad."
  • Louie Lyle as Tuco, "the Ugly."
  • Jordan Abell as The Kid.
  • Jerry Cowherd as former slave Junius Groves.
  • Randy Davenport as Greensburg Baptist Church 1865 pastor Henry McDonald.
  • Gary Ferguson as Union General Edward Hobson.
  • Sue Ferguson as The Widow.
  • Darrell Higgason as Abner Gooch, founder of the lost river town of Osceola (existed 1860-1899 in western Green County on the Little Barren River)
  • Danny Jeffries as Union Home Guard Captian Rod Jeter.
  • Alan Montgomery as Confederate Sgt. Fed Cox, who rode with Morgan's Raiders.
  • Adam Abell as The Hangman.
