Shiloh to dedicate
Shelter of Salvation and Tranquility, Oct. 10, 2010

By Phyllis Reeves
News from Shiloh Christian Church

Shiloh Christian Church, 239 Shiloh Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY, in the Ozark community of Adair County, will be dedicating its new pavilion "The Shelter of Salvation and Tranquility" at 1:30pmCT, on Sunday, October 10, 2010.

The present Shiloh Christian church building will also be re-dedicated with a history presentation of the church. We will also have a potluck lunch in the basement at 12pm noon CT. The minister, Bro. Norbert Hall and congregration invites old and new friends to come stay all day or any part of the day and share in this occasion. Morning worship starts 10:30amCT.

The Shelter of Salvation and Tranquility pavilion is unique in that a lot of it was built from reclaimed materials from old Adair County houses and was donated by a Reeves family business.

The new shelter features both bench and table seating and has a Fountain/Baptistry as the center piece. One end faces KY East 80 and has a lighted cross and church name. The shelter was built by members of the church.
