La Grange, KY Church sponsors cookout for LWC students Click on headline for story plus photo(s) By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College Columbia, KY - A Greater Louisville, KY, church gave Lindsey Wilson College a special treat on Wednesday night. Two members of Covenant United Methodist Church of La Grange, KY, held a cookout on the lawn next to Phillips Hall and gave about two dozen LWC students a break from the usual fare.Each year, Covenant UMC sponsors a cookout on a college campus where its youth members are enrolled. This year, the church will hold cookouts at about eight colleges, including one in Jackson, TN,, and one in Chicago.
