He was a member of a respected Green Co. family. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had professed faith in Christ

Larry Joe Caven, 55, departed this life Monday,September 27, 2010, at his home in Green Co., KY,

The funeral service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY, at 2pmCT, Wednesday September 29, 2010 with Rev. Jim Collins officiating.Visitation will be after 6pmCT, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 and after 7amCT, Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Green Co., KY.


Pallbearers: Kirby Vance, Jr., Jordan Caven, Morris Simmons, Shawn Milby, J.T. Veltman, andMichael Montgomery.

Honorary Pallbearers: Danny Young, Willie Ed Mitchell, Ray Underwood.

Larry Joe Caven was born Monday, April 4, 1955 in Green Co, KY, to Margaret Marie MatneyCaven of Greensburg, KY, and William Cyril Caven (now deceased). He departed this life Monday,September 27, 2010 at his home in Green Co., KY, having attained the age of 55years, 5 months and 23 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Larry Joe Caven is survived by the following:
  • One son: James Caven of Hart County, KY

  • Twodaughters and one son-in-law: Sashya Cavin of Louisville, KY, and April Caven-Veltman andJ.T. Veltman of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Joseph Wayne Cavenof Campbellsville, KY

  • Three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Lynda and Kerry Collins of Campbellsville, KY; Judy and Jeff Huffman of Greensburg, KY; and Margarette Elizabeth Caven of Greensburg, KY

  • One grandson: Weston Veltman of Campbellsville, KY
Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, in charge of arrangements.
