Hilda Marie Bow Spears, 78, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Service at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST. Burkesville, KY, at 11amCT, on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, with burial in the Perkins Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, September 28, 2010, after 1pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY

Hilda Marie Bow Spears, Cumberland Co., KY (1932-2010)

Hilda Marie Bow Spears was born in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY on Sunday, September 26, 1932. She was a daughter of the late Minnie (York) and Joe Tom Moles. She died Monday, September 27, 2010, in Burkesville, KY at the age of 78 years, and 1 day.

She was a loving mother, housewife, and a member of Spears Chapel Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Margie Mae Bow, her first husband, Illus P. Bow, and three brothers, Norman Watkins, Kenneth Gene Moles, Shelby BrakeShe is survived by her husband, Henry L. Spears of Burkesville, KY and the following:
  • Four sons: Richard Bow, and his wife Polly, of Detroit, Alabama; Lonnie Bow, and his wife Eva, of Moss, Tennessee; Randall Bow, and his wife Patsy of Celina, TN, and James Bow, of Burkesville, Kentucky

  • Two daughters: Martha Spears, and Marlene Spears, both of Burkesville, KY;

  • Three sisters: Edna Carvell Delton, and Oleta Kemp, both of Louisville, KY; and Janie Amick, and her husband Joe of Indianapolis, IN

  • One brother: J. C. Watkins, of Louisville, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • Seven step grandchildren

  • Fifteen step great grandchildren
