Obituary: Mrs. Lillian Mouser Bishop, 88, Green Co., KY

She was the matriarch of a large, respected West Green County family. She leaves 66 direct living descendants.

Mrs. Lillian Mouser Bishop, age 88 of the Pierce Community of Green Co, KY, passed away on Saturday at her home on September 25, 2010.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lillian Mouser Bishop, will be conducted Tuesday, September 28, at 1pmCT the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Metcalfe Co. KY. The family requests visitation from 4:30pm-9pmCT on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.



Mrs. Lillian Mouser Bishop, Green Co., KY (1921-2010)

Lillian Mouser Bishop was born Sunday, November 6, 1921. She died Saturday, September 25, 2010 in Pierce, Green Co., KY, at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 19 days,.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Nayoma Thornberry and her husband RL of Arizona

  • Two sons: Jerry Bishop and his wife Susie and Herman Bishop and his companion Geraldine Ramsey all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two sisters: Vernice Carnes of Campbellsville, KY; and Drucilla Blaydes of Louisville, KY

  • Twenty-one grandchildren

  • Thirty-three great grandchildren

  • Nine great great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
