Campbellsville University Orchestra pops concert is Oct. 5, 2010

Orchestra roster, a large number from South Central Kentucky and other United States, but has an international flavor, as well, with some incredibly talented musicians from Brazil and Korea. The program is a pops concert featuring music from 'Stage and Screen.' It's free and open to the public.

The Campbellsville University Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. J. Robert Gaddis and Wansoo Cho, will present its fall concert at 8pmET/7pmCT, Tuesday, October 5, 2010, in the Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins AV, Campbellsville, KY. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the School of Music at (270) 789-5237.



This program is a pops concert featuring music of "Stage and Screen." The musical selections include "Theme from Star Wars" by John Williams, another selection by John Williams, music from "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Porgy and Bess" by George Gershwin, "A Salute to Rodgers and Hammerstein" and a musical portrait of "Titanic" by James Horner.
