Jane Wood, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:34pm, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Saturday, September 25, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Robert Boston. Burial will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Friday, September 24, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Donnie Cox, Ricky Cox, and Rodger Cox.

Jane Wood, Taylor Co., KY (1924 - 2010)

Jane Wood of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Alvin Cox and Daisy Herron Cox, was born Thursday, October 9, 1924, in Taylor Co., KY. She died at Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 13 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wood.

She is survived by the following:
  • Four sons and five daughters: Christine Ferguson, Quilley McDonald and wife, Iva Nell, Junior McDonald and wife, Ann, Thelda Kidd and husband, Tom and Terry McDonald, all of Campbellsville, KY: ;Evelyn Rafferty and husband, Barry of Bowling Green, KY; Lonnie McDonald of Georgetown, KY; and Gail Lewis and husband, Ronnie of Springfield, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Twelve great-grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jamie Ferguson; three brothers and three sisters: Wallace Cox, Huston Cox, Floyd Cox, Gracie Gaddis, Lettie Sluder and Hettie Herron. The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
