George F. Allen died Sunday September 19, 2010 at his home on Griffith Ridge Road in Casey County. he was 66.

Funeral service is 1pmET/12 noon CT, Thursday September 23 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bros. Shirley Denson and Bearl King. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, at the funeral home.

George F. Allen, Casey Co., KY (1943-2010)

He was born Sunday, December 19, 1943. He was the son of the late Claud and Mae Sharp Allen. He died Sunday, September 19, 2010, in Casey Co., KY, at the age of 66 years and 9 months.

He was a self-employed mechanic and was a member of the Brush Creek Pentecostal Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Lewis.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Followell Allen, and the follwoing:
  • One daughter: Georgia Fay and (Joey) Daniel of Liberty, KY

  • A son: Johnny Dewayne Allen of West Liberty, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Randalin and Matthew Daniel and Zachery Dewayne Allen

  • A brother: John R. Allen of Liberty, KY
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
