Obituary: Janice Marie Turner, 64, Columbia, KY

She was a member of a highly regarded Adair Co., KY family and was a businesswoman with Columbia Window Fashions.

Janice Marie Turner, 64, of Albany and Columbia, KY, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 4:15amCT, at her home in Albany after an illness.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 10amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Shaun Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, 8147 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 3pmCT, Monday, September 20, 2010, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.



Casket Bearers: Carl Edwards, Kenny Neal, Glen Ray Smith, Mike Cheatham, Ed Baise, Dave Rosenbaum.

Janice Marie Turner, Adair Co., KY (1946-2010)

Janice Marie Turner was the daughter of Lola Arleen Jessee, who survives, and the late Autrice Jessee. She was born Monday, April 8, 1946, in Adair Co., KY, and died in Albany, Clinton Co., KY, at the age of 64 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

She was a businesswoman with Columbia Window Fashions.

Survivors include her husband, Bro. Ronnie Turner of Albany, KY, and the following:
  • Her mother: Lola Arleen Jessee of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Angela Ashby of Franklin, KY' Dana Caudill of Campbellsville, KY; Christy Dover of Columbia, KY

  • Two step-sons: Barry Turner of Shepherdsville, KY; and Chris Turner of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Wendell Jessee of Danville, KY; Tony Jessee of Columbia, KY

  • Nine grandchildren
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Gideon Bibles, which may be made at the funeral home.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, in charge of arrangements.
