Funeral services for Calvin Puyear will be conducted at 11amET/10amCT, Monday, September 20, 2010, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery, W. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Jim Durham will officiate. The family requests visitation 5-8pmET/4-7pmCT,, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Calvin Ray Puyear was the son of Elbert and Jewell Puyear, Campbellsville, KY. He was born, Sunday, January 17, 1965 and died in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the age of 45 years, 7 months, and 29 days.

He is survived by wife Debora Puyear of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Jessie Puyear of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two daughters: McKenzie Puyear of Campbellsville, KY, and Carly Puyear of Alabama

  • Three step-children: Shawn Penoyer, Christoper Penoyer and Desiree Penoyer all of Campbellsville, KY

  • His parents: Elbert and Jewell Puyear of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Judith Mattingly of Campbellsville, KY
The Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
