Tim Farmer prepares dove on Kentucky Afield By Scott Moore News from Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Frankfort, KY - Dove season's dinner table plus a once-in-a-lifetime fishing opportunity are featured on "Kentucky Afield" TV this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19, 2010. Host Tim Farmer has never once "stretched the truth" so when he describes his dove kabob recipe as kabobaciously delicious, we rolled our eyes. Then, "Kentucky Afield" cameras followed the story to his homemade grill. It's true. Dove season has never had it so good. The 2010 Trolling for Trophies drawing winner is also featured in this episode. Sponsored by the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation, this fund raiser to benefit youth conservation education earned Bud Foshee and friend Paul Maniscalco of Birmingham, AL, the chance to fish a private trophy lake where the lunkers have never seen a lure. "Kentucky Afield" is a production of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. It is the longest continuously running outdoor television show in the nation. The program airs at 8:30pmET/7:30pmCT, Saturdays, and repeats at 4pmET/3pmCT, Sundays, on KET 1. This story was posted on 2010-09-14 06:22:36
