About: Community Medical Services honored with EIE Award

By Sue Stivers, Executive Director
News from the Columbia-Adair Co. Chamber and Econonomic Development Authority

The Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Authority send Congratulations to Community Medical Services for receiving the Excellence In Entrepreneurship Award (EIE).

For them to be chosen as one of three finalists from the 55 county area was indeed an honor, but to be the winner was an outstanding accomplishment.

I was in attendance at the Awards Luncheon...to sit and watch the video of the operation of Community Medical Services and to hear their story...was indeed exciting.

I could hardly wait for the winner to be announced from the top three.

When it was announced that Community Medical Services of Columbia, Kentucky was the recipient of the award, I was thrilled beyond words.

The audience showed their approval from the amount of applause given.

Stacey Wilson graciously accepted the award in a manner that would have made all Adair Countains proud. -Sue Stivers, Executive Director Chamber and Economic Development Authority
