Steve Wheeler thinks Chicago greatest food town About: Dual Breeding and Chi-town citizenship holder wants Portillos here To Greg Dawkins, via CM: I agree with you! But I doubt that Portillo's would ever come to a small town like Columbia. You're right in saying they are the best hot dogs in the world! As a lifelong Sox fan, my wife and I have been to Portillo's on several occasions. It's a fine place to eat indeed! One alternative that is available to you is what my wife does for me... she orders boxes of dogs, Polish, Italian Beef with rolls, relish, and sport peppers from Vienna Beef. You can go their website viennabeef.comBy the way what is your favorite Italian Beef place in Chicago? Al's ? Portillo's? I know there are many more. Best food in the world is served in Chicago ..my hometown !! Thanks.s/Steve Wheeler This story was posted on 2010-09-13 15:42:39
