Beef Futures Shortcourses, Columbia
and Greensburg, KY Extension offices


For producers in Adair, Green, and Taylor Counties of Kentucky

A Beef Futures Market Shortcourse will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY, and again on Monday, October 4, 2010, at the Green County Extension Office, 106 S. Public Square, Greensburg, KY. Both sessions will begin at 6:30pmET/5:30pmCT. Mr. Kenny Burdine, Ag Economist for the University of Kentucky will be delivering a program on Understanding the Future's Market and How to Utilize It as a Tool in Your Beef Cattle Operation.

A sponsored meal will be provided to participants. Please call the Taylor Co. Extension Office at (270) 465-4511, the Adair Co. Extension office at (270) 384-2317., or the Green Co.
