TAKE IT HOME

By Billy Joe Fudge
Hey little man, arise and shine,
I know it's early and you're only fourteen
But there's a bear in your sheep-
The biggest one you've ever seen.
You don't need help 'cause you've got Me,
Just take a stone and put it in the sling.
Plant your feet and throw that thing,
Then leave it to Me to make it sing.

Hey little man arise and shine.
I know it's early and you're only fifteen
But there's a lion in your sheep-
The biggest one you've ever seen.
You don't need help 'cause you've got Me,
Just take that sling and put in a stone;
Throw that rock and throw it hard,
Then leave it to Me and to Me alone.

Hey little man arise and shine.
I know it's early and you're only sixteen
But there's a man in My sheep-
The biggest one you've ever seen.
You don't need armor 'cause you've got Me,
Just take up a stone and throw at his head;
Join the battle, and throw that thing,
Then leave it to Me and the giant is dead.

Yes, he was little but he was loud.
He was weak but He was stout.
He was young but he was proud
Of just one thing in front of that crowd.
Just one thing he would brag on
For he knew he was flesh and bone
And all he could do was throw a stone-
But the Lord God Almighty could take it home.
