Crowd of 1,500 sees first Blue Raider Football win

Columbia, KY -- More than 1,500 fans saw Lindsey Wilson College football coach Chris Oliver record his first victory as a college head coach.

The Blue Raiders blew past visiting Southern Virginia University 44-3 at Blue Raider Stadium, almost as quickly as Saturday afternoon's storm blew through Adair County.

PAP: Pushups after Points These six Lindsey Wilson College students performed a total of 191 pushups during Saturday afternoons football game between LWC and Southern Virginia University at Blue Raider Stadium. Every time the Blue Raiders scored, the sextet did the number of pushups that corresponded to LWCs point total. As the Lindsey Wilson cheerleaders run through the end zone, the six are doing 35 pushups after LWC running back Richard Kennedys 63-yard run and subsequent extra point made the score 35-3 with 4:45 left in the third quarter.
