Obituary: Jackie Lynn Parnell, 36, Milltown, KY

He was member of a large, respected Adair Co., KY family. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and attended Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church

Jackie Lynn Parnell, 36, of Milltown, KY, died Friday, Septempber 10, 2010 at 6:49pm at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown after an illness.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1:00pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Herbert Janes and Bro. Darrell Coffey officiating. Burial in Parnell Cemetery, 200 Parnell Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 1pm, Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the funeral home.


Jackie Lynn Parnell, Adair Co., KY (1974-2010)

Jackie Lynn Parnell was a son of the late Joyce Edwards Parnell and Donnie Parnell, who survives. He was born Monday, September 2, 1974, and died in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY, Saturday, September 10, 2010, at the age of 36 years and 8 days.

He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and attended Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • His father: Donnie Parnell of Milltown, KY

  • Two sons: Jordan Parnell of Milltown, KY, and Jacob Parnell of Columbia,KY

  • Two daughters: Brienna Parnell of Hardyville. KY, and Alexis Parnell of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Steve Chapman of Edmonton, KY, and Kenny Chapman of Lebanon, KY

  • His grandfather: Weldon Edwards of Edmonton, KY

  • One nephew: Tyler Chapman of Edmonton, KY
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
