Obituary: Helen Sartin, 85, Metcalfe Co., KY

She was a member of a highly regarded Metcalfe County family. She attended the Church of Christ and was a homemaker.

Helen Sartin, age 85, of Edmonton, KY, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at her home.

Graveside services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, September 13, 2010, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Randolph, KY. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pmCT, Sunday, September 12, 2010, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Fred and Janice James Allbright.

She was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband Richard Sartin, and the following:
  • One daughter: Shelia (Fred) Ray of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sons: Rick (Marilee) Sartin of Louisville, KY; and Todd Sartin of Fisherville, KY

  • One brother: Don Allbright of Glasgow, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Walker Veal of Whitehouse, TN; and John Ray of Horse Cave, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Brittany Veal and Connor Ray
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers, Olene Edwards, Jack and Garvin Lee Allright.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
