Adair Co. Girls Golf drops one to Green Co. High

Olivia Parrott of Green County has 40 for best score. Rachel Phipps best for Adair County with 51

News from Adair County High School Athletics


Both teams had players out for the match between defending girls golf State Champions Green County in a match scheduled for Thursday, September 9, 2010, at Greensburg, KY, but Adair County had only three players, and had to forfeit.




Adair Co. was without Ashley Goodin and Jessica Simpson, leaving them with only three players. not enough for a team score.

Green Co. was without Kate Larimore, Cassidy Scantland and Sydney Smith who are three of there top four golfers.

Green Co. shot a 206 with Olivia Parrott carding a 40, Leah Judd 46, Sydney Agee 50, and Berlyn Judd a 70. Adair Co. scores were Rachel Phipps 51, Emilee Royse 55, Abby Royse 57.

Next up for Adair County Girls Golf is the Warren East Lady Raider Invitational in Bowling Green, KY on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The tournament will be played at Paul Walker Golf Course, 1044 Covington Street Bowling Green, KY 42103-2408. It will be a shot gun start at 8amCT.
