Obituary: Grover Thomas Johnson, 65, Russell Co., KY He was a highly regarded citizen of Russell County, a former school teacher and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Bernard Ridge Church of God Grover Thomas Johnson, 65, French Valley RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, September 9, 2010, at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY. The funeral service will be at 11amCT, Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Russell Springs United Methodist Church, 206 Jamestown ST, Russell Springs, KY with Rev. James Small and Rev. Jim Kingry the officiating clergy. Special music will be by David Aaron and Diana Hughes. Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, September 10, 2010, at the church. Pallbearers: Floyd Flanagan, Larry Norfleet, Charlie Smith, Jeff Stanton, Steve Gaskin, Dwight Harris, Ottis Skaggs, and Larry Bennett. Grover Thomas Johnson, Russell Co., KY (1945-2010) Grover Thomas Johnson was the son of Grover Cleveland Johnson and Norine Lawrence Johnson. He was born in Russell Co., KY, on Sunday, July 29, 1945 and died in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at the age of 65 years, 1 months, and 11 days. He is survived by his parents and by his wife, Peggy Ann Aaron Johnson, and the following:
