Coach Oliver sends thanks to people of Columbia, KY 9/11 will be remembered at next Saturday's game; military personnel will be admitted free Click for memories of The Inaugural Blue Raider Football Game 17 photos of the Big Day, September 4, 2010 By Coach Chris Oliver, LWC Head Football CoachNews from Lindsey Wilson College I'd like to take the time to thank all of the people of Columbia and Adair County who made last Saturday such a special day. Putting together a production as large as the one we had last Saturday takes a lot of work by folks not only on our campus, but throughout the community as well. We couldn't have asked for more support to bring this day to fruition. In addition, the support from our fans at the game was tremendous. The crowd was spectacular, and we appreciate that a great deal. We have another home game this Saturday at 1:30pmCT, and I hope we can pack the stadium once again. General admission tickets are still available and will be on game day. This Saturday is September 11th, and it will be a special day at Blue Raider Stadium. We will honor all military personnel and Veterans with free admission (with proper ID), and take time to remember those who lost their lives 9 years ago. Please make plans to come out and support our young men this Saturday. Go Blue Raiders! -Chris Oliver This story was posted on 2010-09-08 09:40:42
