High School Athletics On Tuesday afternoon, the ACHS Boy's golf teams competed against Glasgow at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson golf course. The result was two huge wins for the tribe. In Varsity action, the Tribe shot a team score of (154) to best Glasgow's (167). Colby Robertson led the way carding a (37). He was followed by Van Giles's (38) Riley Grant's (39) Alex Durham's (40) and Daniel Rarey's (41). The Indians record now stands at 14 wins and 3 losses for the season. We beat a quality and well coached team today. This was definitely a huge win for us. It is a win that you can pick up a lot of good momentum from. We are just focusing on getting better each and everyday. On the JV side of things, the Indians shot an outstanding team score of (173) against Glasgow's (187). Jerrod Grider led the way carding a score of (40). Trey and Tanner Garmon's pair of (43's) and Austin Cundiff, Blake Maupin, and Easton Ellis shot a trio of (47's) to round out the scoring for the tribe. The JV Indians improved their unbeaten record to 11 wins and no losses on the season. -Steve Burton Next: Adair Co.
