Thanks Adair County, for another wonderful Labor Day Celebration. It was our pleasure to serve food at the Buy, Swap, Sell & Trade show. And, thanks to you, it was a record year of sales for our group.

Several of our group remarked how wonderful it was when many of you told them that you come to our booth every year. It was so good to renew acquaintances with everyone.

The many people attending the 2010 annual Buy, Swap, Sell & Trade Day on the Square at Columbia have become accustomed to visiting the Jones Chapel Church food booth, for delicious home cooking.

The featured item this year was Dried Apple Pies prepared by Zilpha Corbin from dried Apples provided by Gary Wolford. The pies were in such demand that a repeat customer ran across Jamestown street traffic to buy the last few remaining fried delicacies.

The country ham raffle was won by Connie Kemp. The ham itself is donated by Gary and Frances Wolford. And because of their generous donation, the proceeds from the raffle sales go entirely to fund activities for the youth of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.

Church members on hand throughout the day were Johnny Richard. Zilpha Corbin, Pam Jones and Devin Jo Richard. Richard and Gladys Baker, Radius and Marcella Brown, Robby and Julie Burton, Tim and Melissa Dykes, Jerry and Ann Giles, Pam Jones, Bro. Mike, Debrah, Thaddeus, Charlie, and Hanna Moon, Chad Parnell, Joseph and Norma Jean Parnell, John, Karen, John Luke, Macy. and Jace Partin, Terry and Rita Partin, Derek,Tanya and Kaden Richard, Johnny Richard, Sharon, Bodie and Devin Jo Richard, Bobby and Mildred Sneed, Runa Willis and Jason, Jennifer and Riley Ann Yarberry.
