Dr. Max Downey built a train without tracks and took some of the neighborhood children around his neighborhood on Green River Lake near the Tebb's Bend Monument area of Southern Taylor Co., KY, on a test run Sunday afternoon. September 5, 2010.

Dr. Downey built the train for the Fall Heritage Festival at Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia RD, Campbellsville, KY, which will be held on September 11, 2010. -Lawrence Hamilton, Campbellsville, KYSeptember 5, 2010

Columbia Optometrist Dr. Max Downey the engineer, above took some approving neighborhood kids on a test run to check out the trackless kiddy train he built especially for the Fall Festival at the Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia RD, Campbellsville, KY, which will be held next Saturday, September 11, 2010.
