She was a member of the Saloma Baptist Church and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, Kentucky Human Resources, and Home Health.

Dawn Gupton, 62, Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:50amET, Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Louisville, KY

Funeral services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV,Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. John Chowning. Burial will be in Saloma Cemetery. Visitation is after 5pmET/4pmCT, Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the funeral home.


Dawn Gupton, Taylor Co., KY (1947-2010)

Dawn Gupton was the daughter of the late Gordon Ellis and Ina Sharp Ellis. She was born Sunday, December 7, 1947, in Lincoln Co., KY and died Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 62 years, 8 months, and 26 days

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Saloma Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Kentucky Human Resources and Home Health.

She united in marriage to Alvin Gupton August 27, 1966.

Besides her husband, Alvin Gupton of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter: Anthony Todd Gupton of Campbellsville, KY; Leigh Ann Bell and husband, Sam of Columbia, KY; and Jonathan Gordon Gupton and wife, Kasey of Glasgow, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Stephanie Dawn Bell and Billy James Bell of Columbia, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Pat Brown of Yosemite, KY, and Jay Ellis of Dunnville, KY

  • several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Gay Wilson.

Family request expressions of sympathy be donations to the funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
