Overcorrection a factor in Gravel Switch, KY crash Driver, age 17, taken to Spring View Hospital, Lebanon, KY, after vehicle leaves roadway, strikes barn By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Marion Co., KY - Trooper Fred Cornett of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY is investigating a crash that occurred Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 3:25pmET, two miles west of Gravel Switch on US68. The crash occurred when a 2001 Ford, operated by Adam Hallmark, age 17, of Lebanon, KY, was traveling westbound on US68, dropped off the left shoulder of the roadway, overcorrected and left the right side of the roadway, striking a barn. Hallmark was belted at the time of the crash and was transported to the Spring View Hospital, Lebanon, KY, by Marion County EMS where he was treated and released.
