Chelsey Key (77), Jennifer MacKinnon (77), Paola Gonzales (85), Kaitlin Allan (87) Candace Stacey (89) Action continues today at Crooked Creek Country Club, 781 Crooked Creek DR, London, KY By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Wilson College Sports Information London, KY - Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Kelsey Joslyn shot a career-best even-par 72 (36-36) today to help the Blue Raiders lead the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Club. As a team, the Blue Raiders shot 311 to lead the 11-team field by 15 strokes at the midway point over second place Campbellsville (KY) University (326). Host University of the Cumberlands (KY) is third following a 330 and Indiana Tech University is fourth after firing a 348 team-total over the par-72, 6,072-yard Crooked Creek layout. Joslyn recorded a pair of birdies, two bogeys and a tournament-leading 14 pars in her opening round. The Danville, KY, native, birdied the par 3, 152-yard 2nd hole and the par 4, 294-yard 13th hole. Joslyn leads the tournament over a pair of teammates - senior Chelsey Key (40-37) and sophomore Jennifer MacKinnon (38-39) each shot five-over par 77s. Lindsey Wilson junior Paola Gonzales' 85 (43-42) is tied for 15th and freshman Kaitlin Allan's 87 (42-45) is tied for 21st in the 60-woman field. Freshman Candace Stacey - playing as an individual - is tied for 27th with an 89 (43-46). The Lindsey Wilson College Blue Raiders Women's Golf team returns to action on Friday, September 3, 2010, (tee time for LWC TBA) in the final round of the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Club, 781 Crooked Creek DR, London, KY.
