Obituary: Elwanda Grider, 77, Russell Co., KY She was a member of a respected Russell County family and of the Royville Friendship Church. She was a beautician Elwanda Grider, 77, Woodland DR, Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Casey County Hospital in LIberty, KY. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Carroll Egnew the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Dean and Sheila McKinley. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pm, Friday, September 3, 2010, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brad Redmon, Greg Redmon, Scott Redmon, Doug Anderson, Jeff Lawless, and Gary Robertson. Elwanda Grider, Russell Co., KY (1933-2010) Elwanda Grider was the daughter of the late Elsie Anderson Grider and Horace Grider. She was born Friday, June 9, 1933, in Russell Co., KY, and died Thursday, September 2, 2010, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY at the age of 77 years, 2 months, and 24 days. She was a beautician and was a member of the Royville Friendship Church. She is survived by four sisters, Margaret Lawless, Mildred Anderson, Juanita Anderson, and Lavern (George) Ison, all of Russell Springs, KY and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death b y one sister, Almarene Redmon, and two brothers, Clifton Grider and Ralph Grider. Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY in charge of arrangements.
