Adair native running in Chicago Marathon in honor of Sarah

Jamie Irvin Schaefer, Adair County native, running Chicago Marathon to help raise money for Cancer Research and to honor Sarah Irvin Gardner

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I am training to run the Chicago Marathon on October 10th.

I joined a group called "Fred's Team" and am committed to raising $2,000 to go towards Brain & Pediatric Cancer research. The team was set up by the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center which is one of the world renown Cancer Research Groups.

If you would like to make a donation, I would greatly appreciate it. My runs have been so much more meaningful knowing I am running to Honor Sarah Irvin Gardner and to try to raise money for Cancer Research, hoping someday we will not have to watch our loved ones fight this terrible disease.

You can visit the website and see my profileat Fred's Team

Donations can be made as an online payment or you can print the online form and mail the form with a check. The donation is tax deductible. Any donations will be greatly appreciated - whether it be $1.00, $5.00, or more.

My participant name is Jamie Irvin Schaefer

My participant number is 999934053

The Event is the Bank of America Chicago Marathon

Thanks so much in advance. Please e-mail me with any questions at JamieLSchaefer@hotmail.com.
