2010 Address Marker campaign off to a good start

The 2010 Address Marker campaign is off to a great start, FFA Adviser Kirby Hancock said.

Already, a total of 68 have been sold, with the largest number, 23 arriving today. "That's really good," he said, "when you consider that we didn't start until Monday (August 23) of this week."

All Adair County FFA members are involved in the sale. And all earned credits toward trips with every 10 orders. In addition, the top seller will win a trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN.

Last year, The Adair County FFA sold over 1,000 of the reflective markers. This year, Mr. Hancock said he hopes to do even better.

The solicitation phase will be over by October 31, 2010.

Orders can be placed with any of the members, by calling the Adair County High School at (270) 384-2751, and at retail locations around the county
