Columbia Baptist Church holds game-day service

For Lindsey Wilson College football players, coaches.

Columbia, KY - Members of the Lindsey Wilson College football team were recognized Sunday morning at Columbia Baptist Church at a special chapel service. In his message to the players, coaches and staff, the Rev. G. Ted Taylor, transitional pastor, said that "uncommon people do hard things for the glory of God."



LWC football coach Chris Oliver said he plans to hold a game-day chapel service before each game. The Blue Raiders had an inter-squad scrimmage game on Sunday afternoon at Blue Raider Stadium in the Lindsey Wilson Sports Park.

LWC's football season-opener is 1:30pmCT on Saturday, September 4, 2010, against Notre Dame (OH) College at Blue Raider Stadium, 820 Hanley DR, Columbia, KY
