Thank you for huge success of Outdoor Expo Over 1,500 in attendance at Saturday, August 21, 2010 event sponsored by Jones Chapel United Methodist Church at Adair County Elementary School. By Terry Partin and David Jones News from Jones Chapel Church, 2267 Jones Chapel RD, Columbia, KY Thank you, Adair County, from the Jones Chapel Church family, for making the first South Central Kentucky Outdoor Expo a tremendous success. Over 1500 people from Adair County and all over Kentucky and surrounding states came out to see what visitors and vendors alike described as a first rate event for sportsmen. Over 500 people were on hand at the closing of the event to hear the message delivered by Gary Miller of Outdoor Truths Ministry. The event was free to the public and vendors as well. The Expo could not have been a success without the help of the many volunteers who joined the Church family in the execution of a well prepared plan to make the Expo an event everyone would enjoy. We extend a very special thank you to Coach Graves, his staff and the Adair County High School Football team for their assistance in shuttling attendees from parking to the facility, through both heat and rain. We also extend a special thank you to Robbie Harmon and everyone at the Adair County Elementary School for opening your facility and your hearts to this event. -Terry Partin and David Jones This story was posted on 2010-08-22 09:05:02
