Reader seeks enlightenment on Gum Grove To ColumbiaMagazine.com Where is or was Gum Grove? I know of Walnut Grove. s/Ken Page Mr. Page, this issue also troubles me a great deal. I am in the same quandary. I know that two giant figures of present day Adair County, Mr. Rollin Coomer and Mr. Joseph Gadberry, got headstarts on the rest, even we townies, at Walnut Grove. But I am not well versed in matters Gum Grove; which is to say I plead almost total ignorance.
